2018-19 Calendar Corrected

The McCurdy dress code changes implemented in Spring 2018 will continue.  Students who do not come to school in appropriate clothing will be asked to change and/or their family will be called to bring appropriate clothing.  Repeated dress code violations could lead to further disciplinary action.

Students may wear denim, black, or khaki colored jeans to school.  Not allowed are joggers or sweats, pants with rips or tears.  In addition, students may wear McCurdy spirit wear on any day of the week, or a collared polo shirt.   Shirt color options have NOT changed.  College shirts are only allowed on Fridays.  Sleeveless shirts are not permitted.  Khaki, black, or blue pants are still permitted.

Please keep in mind that hoodies should adhere to dress code expectations.  If a student is wearing a hoodie, it should be school appropriate and a collared or McCurdy shirt is required underneath.

Ms. Burke took 3 students to check out the  International Shakespeare Center production of King Lear in Santa Fe!  What a great opportunity!  Two of these students will be performing in the Youth Shakespeare Festival with the ISC in December.  Students interested in participating can see Ms. Burke (6th grade teacher) for more information.
